Wall Drawing in Progress: Part 4
So the other stuff was shit, apart form the little girl, I quite like that part although not sure what to do with it. Anyway, the other stuff is gone and I’m now testing out large scale versions of these nomad drawings I’ve been doing, you know, wandering explorer types – although this guy kinda looks like a fisherman!
It’s interesting trying to get a similar crosshatch style with paint markers.
Nomad drawings coming soon.
Soz for the cack quality photos…
New art work pig thing…
I found this broken pig ornament in a derelict building and had to use it for something – a few weeks later and here it is!

In the mean time look at this bit of work I did for the last FreeBirds show

The Preview is on Thursday 19th August, 6 – 9pm at Made in Newcastle, 22 Nun Street (a couple of doors down from Wilkinsons)

New work features in ‘Act Art 8′ in London
Eeeeeeee I’m dead excited! I was very kindly asked by Artist Susan Mortimer to submit some work for her Censored zine which is featuring in this years Act Art exhibition.
Act Art is a one night only event which gathers the subversive, provocative, underground art world together for an art extravaganza. Time Out has this to say about it…
“Over its seven previous incarnations, Marc Massive and Oliver Frost’s ACT ART has established itself as one of London’s most rich and stimulating live-art bashes, offering a remarkable range of formal and thematic work from a broad range of the cream of the art, fashion and club scenes.”
This years theme is censorship and the zine by Susan Mortimer follows the same theme. I know Susan through Empty Shop and have featured in one of her Mail Art zines before. She puts in a tremendous about of work collating these beautiful booklets which come in limited runs; this is my piece…
The content is fairly obvious, and the style and execution is intentionally bad.
